It was actually going to be the basis of a novella for a long while, in which the journey to Lindell took much longer and was fraught with more peril, and eventually Caine would run away to search for his father, who he had more cause to believe was actually alive (in the original version), but I never got any farther with the plot than what you see here!
And in case any of you are worried about Nilus (whose caravan you are traveling with in the beginning of the game), he is fine! He wasn't present for the wedding and took his traders back to Kinley for more journeys. He was sad to see Caine leave the 'van, but happy that Caine had found his place in Haven! Unless Caine died at the wedding, in which case... well, he wasn't around for that, so he doesn't know. :(
Whose story would you like to see this month? I will likely start adding secondary characters to the poll once we go through each of the main ones at least once!
