Tiny Update and Poll (Callsign)
Added 2020-08-17 21:09:00 +0000 UTCHi everyone, I hope your August is going well!
I haven't done any updates regard the game yet, as I took the first week of August off to recover from the burnout of last month! And then this past week I've been catching up on the work I've had to delay or miss since taking time off to work on my novel edits!
We've picked out samples for my novel cover art and I will hopefully be sharing those here whenever I get the greenlight from my editor! Now I'm having to go through the horror of writing the marketing copy--essentially the "blurb" that the publisher gives to retailers--and my author bio that goes on the back of the book: it's a lot of pressure! I hate talking about myself (or my work), so having to do it in less than 75 words is torture!
I'll be taking all day today to work on ShoH, so next week I'll have more substantial news to talk about regarding that! XD In the meantime, let's decide on the very last callsign that needs to be decided: Shery's!
Spiel on callsigns below; skip if you've read it already!
Callsigns are codenames or nicknames that the Shepherds assign to each other, generally to refer to each other in incognito/coded messages or to address each other in the field when identities should remain a secret or a mission is being conducted subversively.
I'm not great at coming up with these types of names, so I'm leaving the ones I'm not sure about open to polls. Generally these callsigns relate to an officer's powers, personality, or background in some oblique way, but not always, and sometimes they're chosen by an officer themselves, and other times they're assigned against the person's will. (For example, Lavinet may prefer a more romantic callsign but may not get a choice in the matter, lol).
What do you think Shery's callsign should be?

Is it still an option to write in a call sign? Because I think Chantilly would be cute!! It's a type of lace AND it's a cake!!
