ShoH Update (September #2.5)

Hi everyone! If you've read this post, you'll know I'm planning to take a much needed break next week and going off into the wilderness for a bit!

Typically, my big things to meet every month are:

My various other projects and jobs
Writing enough content to update the alpha build
Writing the short story every month
Miscellaneous Patreon things (Q&A, the goodies, etc.)
Much more!

With my upcoming break, I foresee myself running out of time in terms of doing everything by month's end. I will definitely update the alpha build; I will complete all other Patreon rewards; I will meet my deadlines for work; but whether or not I will be able to write the short story and give it the justice it deserves is doubtful! (Trouble and Chase tied in the poll, by the way, so I flipped a coin and the story will be about Chase. It will be a long one and will detail a lot about his character and backstory!)

I want to have the time to set that story down with care, as it's a very big part of who he is in the game. It's a story full of pain and adventure, love and loss, and it's near and dear to my heart! As such, due to my break, I will be delaying Chase's short story until next month. I very much appreciate your understanding on this!

However--that does not mean I will be leaving you in the lurch this month! Oh, no, you are still going to get a story to read on the 30th. For I have been working on something in secret... something I haven't done since Soldiers of Hael...

What could this be? You'll see at the end of the month! 👀

So this secret story will be replacing this month's usual character story, which will feature Chase next month! Thank you again for your understanding and support, and I hope you look forward to this unveiling! 😉
