What do you most look for in a sample pack?

In my case; I’m usually looking for drums or interesting sound effects. I rarely look for basses and I really never look for anything melodic as that’s kinda my thing to make.

In terms of sound, stuff that isn't too harsh so it doesn't require soothing. Oh and sound design session mudpies that can be resampled/processed are great too
