Update Schedule Change
Added 2021-02-25 15:14:51 +0000 UTCSo I have an announcement to make. Starting from this update, I’ll be reducing the number of updates from twice a week to once a week on Thursdays. The reasoning is this:
I’d like to publish/get Book 1 of A Fractured Song published and I need time for edits. As I’ve promised in my Patreon goals, every $5 Patreon gets a copy of the published book, but I’ve barely started the edits that will allow me to publish. Furthermore, it’s best for me to publish Book 1 of Fractured when I’m still serializing as that’s when audience interest is highest. However, to do all of that I have edits to do. In fact, I just finished my first pass of Arc 1 and I’ve already made several major changes, like making so that Edana finds out Frances is an abused child earlier and then the repercussions from then on.
The good news is that while updates have been reduced, the actual chapter-length has increased on average as I’m finding a lot more to write about. This chapter for one is actually 4700 ish words and the next one is another 4000 word whopper, with the one after that at 3800 words instead of my average 3300. So yeah, I hope that makes up for the increased wait.
