FAQ

HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE TO/UNSUBSCRIBE FROM CARDBOARD EDISON OMNIBUS?

Patrons at the Apprentice level and above will automatically be subscribed to receive our weekly comprehensive email newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of the newsletter. We have no idea why you'd want to, of course, but it's an option. New patrons at these levels will be able to select a sign-up bonus bundle of their choice, which will be emailed to them within 24 hours of their selection.

HOW CAN I GET A LINK TO MY WEBSITE, KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN OR SOCIAL-MEDIA ACCOUNT?

Patrons at the Associate level and above will be credited in all of our original materials. If you want to have a link associated with your name (where it's possible for us to include a link, of course) send us a message and let us know.

HOW DOES THE BLIND PLAYTESTING WORK?

Patrons at the Senior Inventor and Adviser levels are eligible for blind playtesting services. We'll work with you to get us a copy of your game. We're willing to do a print-and-play as long as it's relatively simple; otherwise we'll coordinate mailing us a copy. Remote testing via Tabletop Simulator is discouraged. We will test your game as soon as we can after receiving it—in most cases within a couple of weeks. We'll conduct at least one blind test each month for as long as you're a patron at the Senior Inventor or Adviser level. Feedback will be sent via email or, if you prefer, through a feedback form of your choice.

HOW DOES THE COPY EDITING WORK?

Rulebooks or other board game-related materials may be up to eight pages long, but you may "stockpile" pages by supporting us at the Senior Inventor or Adviser level for multiple months. And if it goes a little over the page limit, we're pretty flexible and won't bug you about it.

UPDATE 11/8/2024: Updates to the Omnibus and blind-playtesting policies.

UPDATE 1/8/2018: Changes made to reflect the new pledge tiers.
