Relaxing things painted on a plane
Added 2024-07-09 07:12:05 +0000 UTCI hate flying. I’ve only flown a handful of times in my life and I think I’ll avoid it entirely from now. Yesterday, I flew to Spain with the kids to celebrate the eightieth birthday of my mother, so I couldn’t wiggle out of that one, but I absolutely hate everything about planes, from the security check-in people making you feel like an asshole to being thousands of feet up in the air to the environmental impact.
Though Timo made one of his eternally funny comments about the utterly incomprehensible announcements the crew were making (Spanish speakers who'd said the English sentences so often and so fast that they had been rendered devoid of any meaning): "Why are the crew having a rap battle over the intercom?" 😎😂
So to calm myself, I painted koi and lavender and that really, really helped. I'll leave the seashells and parrot for the flight home.
