SnowStorm - Weekly Status 2022 #02

Hello everyone.

I hope you are all doing well. Time to talk a bit about SnowStorm this weekend ;).

While I'm still mainly working on SandStorm this month in order to put all the paths up to the same point and release the v0.9, I'm not forgetting SnowStorm, far from it.

=== Script advancement : 60%

I have written about 1000 lines just this week, for the additional scenes that will be in the v0.1 compared to the demo.

=== Renders advancement : 50%

Since January, the renders count is around :

60 new renders involving Dark Ravens

40 new renders involving White Wolves

30 new renders involving Bloody Bears

It should end up somewhere around 80 new renders for each side, so we can say roughly half is rendered so far.

The additional content will be mainly on the girls that had less screen time in the demo, (Lizgard, Katja, Astrid, Mathilda, Yrsa, Sonja) and a few little surprises. But of course, you'll have a bit more of the 3 main girls as well ;). The additional scenes will also present a bit more in-depth how different each clan works.
That way, at the end of the v0.1, the overview of all characters and clans will be pretty complete.

=== Coding advancement : 30%

Then there is the work on the gameplay which will be probably the most time-consuming thing in this update, the classic coding of scenes is almost done, but I also have to code the few features I want to add. There is also a lot of work to install the complete gameplay. Once it's done, it will go faster afterward and coding will not take much time for the next releases.

In February, coding the whole structure of SnowStorm will be my main priority. Depending on how smooth it's going, the v0.1beta should be available somewhere in the second half of February and the v0.1final, 1 or 2 weeks after.
