It's finally time for another monthly update for SnowStorm.

I worked a lot on that game this month, and the demo will end up being a little bigger than I thought.

It could be easily a v0.1, maybe even a v0.2 in term of contents and playtime. But It will still be a demo only, because I will not reveal everything on the story and the mechanics yet. The real v0.1 will be the demo transformed and completed with the full story and the full mechanics + some scenes, and it will need a new save. That's why I'm not calling the first release "v0.1" but "demo" because the saves from the demo won't be usable for the rest of the game.

Now, let's give you a rough idea of what is done and what is still remaining.

Casting : 90%

Environments : 90%

Gameplay : 80%

Renders : 80%

Music : 70%

Coding : 60%

Script : 40%

Animations : 30%

Regarding the schedule, I won't give a precise timeline, as I will prioritize the quality over the speed, so I don't want to impose myself a schedule if it is going to sacrifice some stuff because I didn't have time to do it.

There is still some weeks of work to do, and the plan is to make the game available in closed alpha and beta test phase during October and according to how it goes, I will decide of the schedule for the final release of the demo. Ideally before the end of october, but if it is not good enough, I'll take a little more time to arrange the details.

I'll make some polls soon about a few gameplay aspects that I would like to incorporate, to get some feedbacks and see if you agree with the idea.
