Since Chris asked Dustin if he ever got applesauce for Christmas I feel like I have to tell you my own story. Now unlike Dustin’s family, my family was very poor growing up. And pretty dirty to be honest. For instance we lived in a roach infesting house and my fathers response to this was to get me and my brother dart guns with the suction cups on the end and tell us to take care of it. All that is to say that while my family was poor we were also creative. My dad’s favorite creative gift was to give us all rock candy. If you don’t know what rock candy is look it is it’s supposed to be a cinnamon hard candy that can be made at home. My dads however, was quite literally just candy tapped to rocks. Put in a shoe box’s. It was like 60/40 rocks to candy. One year my dad decided it would be really funny to do basically nothing but gag gifts under the tree. He wrapped up things that he could find around the house like our own dirty socks, a loaf of bread, or drain-o. I was probably 5 years old so at first I was really trying to keep my cool and play along. But then I got to the present that broke the flood gates. A jar of mushrooms. As a child I hated mushrooms so much and as a result I broke down crying at the gift like full on tantrum. My dad being the funny guy he is made me hold up the mushrooms while crying so he could get a picture of it. Feeling sympathetic toward toward my plight my mother pointed out the only real present under the tree it was a rocket ship filled with legos and this was enough to calm my bitch ass down. And it turned out that while my family was poor there was more to that Christmas than met the eye. After all the “presents” under the tree were opened there as an envelope buried for myself and my brothers. The envelopes contained clues that would lead us to places around the house where more clues would be found along with the occasional present. Finally the last clue lead to a major present for each of us in my case it was a bike hidden in a shower. I know this is probably a little too long to read out on the show but given the season and Chris’ throw away question I just had to share. I love LSM and all the people you have brought in. You all will always have my support!!

I'll give em a try. Now I'll just have to decide between dark roast eye masks and vanilla cafe eye masks.
