The Week That Was: 11/29 - 12/03/2021

Happy Sunday, everyone! Hope you're having yourselves a solid weekend. If by any chance you were hoping to spend the rest of your day catching up on the Nextlander content you missed last week, then boy howdy, do I ever have a post for you!

Brad Shoemaker and The Eternal Cylinder 

Our community has been clamoring for Brad to check out the final release of The Eternal Cylinder for a while now, and this past Monday he met that request! Also, in typing this post, I am realizing cylinder is one of those words I never spell correctly the first time. Seriously, I've typed it three times already and I've spelled it a different way each time. Cylinder! It's not that hard!

Very Vinny Mornings: Guardians of the Galaxy -- Part 02 

Vinny returns to Knowhere to meet Cosmo, eat more foom pies, and further piss off his comrades. Plus, we discover that Eidos Montreal may have created the greatest photo mode in the history of action game photo modes.

Our Mission Control and Mysterious Benefactor patrons voted, and they wanted to see Vinny take on the once "lost" Jaguar CD FMV classic, American Hero! And folks, having seen a number of these FMV shitshows over the years, trust me when I say that this one is a doozy.

Alex Races to Finish Forza Horizon 5 

In the spirit of trying to get through some of these games that have lingered throughout the year, Vinny and I are gonna stream some games we need to finish. This past Friday I did all the big final festival races in Forza, and as you can see from the above screenshot, everything went great!

And that was the week! Brad is out for the next couple of weeks--though he will still be coming around for the podcasts--so it's gonna be a whole bunch of me and Vinny on Twitch during that time. We're still working on next week's calendar, but I do believe I'm gonna pick Binary Domain back up, and we'll probably stream a little Fights in Tight Spaces as well.
