I drifted off as you guys played through the ascent. Did you play on PC or consoles? I've had big framerate issues on PC on a system that can easily handle it so assumed it was the game needing a patch or two.

2021-08-03 14:22:06 +0000 UTCI opened the Patreon feed specifically to check if any of the recent updates mentioned you guys were playing The Ascent before I recommended it it you in Discord--you best me to it! Looking forward to watching you play some, I think it's a really impressive game, especially a first title from a smaller studio. May make for good co-op stream fodder, tho the multiplayer sync stuff is a bit buggy.
2021-08-02 19:41:39 +0000 UTCBeen playing The Ascent and holy cow this game is much more ambitious than I thought it was. That huge, lovingly created world is just plain awesome to behold. The gunplay is fun and very punchy and there ar emore mechanics than I'd expect. Aside from some typos and some weird, not game breaking bugs, I'm loving it! Co-op is well implemented too!

2021-08-02 16:02:22 +0000 UTCOnly a few missions in, but loving The Ascent also. It's 100% 'Cyberpunk Diablo' though does have very Crusader no remorse/regret vibes as least on the surface level. I think a sequel would be Diablo 2 to it's current Diablo 1. The core is super solid.

2021-08-02 15:59:03 +0000 UTCI too am enjoying the ascent. It sells the cyberpunk vibe and the tower feels like it’s a living world. Combat is great and reminds me of Crusader no remorse a little. Looking forward to Hollywood and co later!
