Loved the video store talk. My family owned a video store from 83 to 96. Our "Blockbuster takeover" story is a bit different than the one that the documentary is telling. Blockbuster tried every dirty trick in the book to drive us out of business, including opening a store across the street from us, but we consistently kicked their ass everyday of the week. Our parking lot would be overflowing on the weekends and it would be crickets over there. They bought us out for an obscene amount of money just to get rid of us. But they idiotically didn't buy the land. So they continued to pay us rent until the store finally closed in the 2010s. Even funnier, we sold out to them in 1996, pretty much at the absolute peak of video stores in the 90s. If we wouldn't waited just a couple of years it would've really hurt us. But we were able to cash out, take the big corporation for a mint, and milk more money out of them for nearly two more decades. Based on stories like this, I was not surprised when they went out of business. I was on an episode of Retronauts a few years ago talking about this. If you google "Retronauts video stores" I'm sure you'll find it, if anyone is interested in hearing more about this!

Vinny's shoutout to Immortal Hulk was cool. That series is sooo great.
