FPS is really, really good. Those 4 and a half hours flew by in a couple sittings.

As a guy with 2000 hours in PoE, the lore (not the narrative) is definitely on par with mass effect - multiple cultures over many periods of history, who tells the history and why.... you can search for lore and there are a lot of interesting bits to it, especially considering it's a "New Zealand centered" take on fantasy. It is not lore that lasts for 2000 hours, but they do update it interestingly, regularly. It is not critical to gameplay so most people will skip it and say it's not good, but if you play slow and get into it, it legitimately has a lot of interesting worldbuilding and interpretations on tropes that are different than most media.

From a guy with 5000+ hours in path of exile I will tell you, the lore is fine but nothing like mass effect. It is also not its selling point though

Glad to see some coverage for Shadow Gambit! Though sad to hear that it will be the last game from Mimimi Games.
