The Nextlander Watchcast 067: Ninja Terminator (1986)

Our first ever Turkey Month kicks off the only way it possibly could: with a z-grade ninjasploitation movie Frankensteined together out of two different movies. We are of course talking about the "great" Godfrey Ho's Ninja Terminator!

Not sure if Vinny noticed that the first of two robots who visit Richard Harrison's apartment is a bootleg G1 Omega Supreme.

God this thing sounds absolutely incomprehensible.

I just wanted to let u all know this was my favorite watch cast by far . I listened to it last night high off my ass while I was trying to redo the cable management on my desk and I could not stop laughing at how incomprehensible this film was without seeing it .. thanks again as always for a great show it made my night haha

The old MST3K newsletter with the turkey day schedule on it was always a treat. My friends and I would go over the list picking out which ones we had to stay up to watch or get up in the middle of the night to watch.

It truly is glorious trash. I picked up this film on a “Hollywood Martial arts Boxset” Containing 10 films on dvd and half were Godfrey Ho films. Glad this film didn’t break Vinny & Brad. I also need to watch Robo vampire now.

If there's ever an opportunity to combine a Turkey month with an Anime month I can think of a collection of terrible cheap Korean anime "movies" of the space/mecha variety. one of which was the results of being cut together and redubbed by an Australian media group. They are hilarious nightmares and all public domain, but Space Transformer is a treat.
