If you're looking for weird places that Mortal Kombat theme song popping up, I was in Grand Ole Oprey land around Halloween and there was a trio of roller bladers dressed up as skeletons doing trick sequences. They would drop a boom box, play that MK song, do some stunts stuff, then leave once the song finished. That was in like 2002...
