2023-08-02 14:37:37 +0000 UTCA friend watched and recommended Lain, and I forgot basically everything they told me about it. Looking forward to watching Lain finally. There’s plenty of good anime movies if y’all wanted to continue down that road. A Satoshi Kon block would be fun especially with how different some of those movies are. This probably is not everybody’s cup of tea, but in recent years I’ve enjoyed movies from Makoto Shinkai (Your Name, Suzume) and Mamoru Hosoda (Summer Wars, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time). Could also be fun to do a sample of different directors like that.

Secondly, big time anime watcher here and I've never even heard of Lain, so I'm very intrigued to check it out along side you folks. Lastly, just keep up the great work you guys!
