Schedule for the Week of 01/22/2024

What’s going on out there? Well, personally, I’ve been working on putting up some gutters on my detached garage/workshop. It’s one of those projects that starts off super simple and inexpensive and then somehow balloons in ways I never thought. One of those “well, while I’m out here I might as well…”. Luckily, where I have to do the work is pretty low to the ground, so I don’t have to contend with heights. No, my biggest enemy is probably overthinking everything, like 5 or 6 inch gutters, what kind of material for the fascia board, screws or nails to attach the fascia boards to the rafter tails, what size screws or nails, should I add a rain barrel (I did), should I just have hired someone… etc.

On the video game side of things I finished up Prince of Persia and we’ll be talking in more detail about that this week. I’m about to jump into Infinite Wealth, which I believe we can also talk about this week. I’m continuing with Sea of Stars and the story has picked up again, so I’m really excited to continue forward (five party members now!).

I had a fun time doing the Cyberpunk side story stuff last week and will definitely do it again, but this week we’re back to the main story in our Cyberthon 2024! On Thursday we’ve got an earlier stream (I’m doing the Career Day at my son’s middle school) so join us as Alex shows off some Infinite Wealth. On Friday it’s Patron’s Choice day and I think Alex is going to be putting some Rock Band on the poll, so look out for that! Of course we’ve got the Watchcast, Ramblecast, and Podcast this week so come join in on the fun!
