I believe Joan Chen was diplomatic about why she wanted out; I remember at some point she expressed frustration with being typecast in "concubine" roles and Western stereotypes of Asian beauty. The drawer pull also feels like the ultimate example of "someone doing a bad cover of David Lynch"

2024-06-16 21:08:56 +0000 UTCI'm sad that Windom Earle apparently sucks. I remember really liking his character, so I didn't suffer through season 2 because of it. But it's been over a decade so maybe they're right.
