Schedule for the Week of 02/12/2024
Added 2024-02-12 19:40:46 +0000 UTCIt’s time for more Steam Next Fest demos and Alex and I are going to be checking out a few of those on Monday. Brad might also jump into some on his solo stream on Thursday, but I think that’s still TBD! I’ll be heading back to complete some more of those “wacky” Cyberpunk 2077 side stories on Thursday as well. On Friday we’re still debating on whether to attempt some Skull and Bones or party up for Enshrouded… Over on the podcast side of things we’ve got the Season 2 finale of Twin Peaks! It’s a long one with a lot of season recap, so don’t miss it! We’ll also have the Ramblecast, Podcast, and a Never Been a Better Podcast with Abby Russell and Dan Ryckert which will be going up at the end of the week! Lastly, as of this writing I’m still wondering if and when Microsoft will make their “we are listening to you” announcement this week, which definitely has me very curious… and not just because I want them to do it before we record the podcast!
EDIT - Thursday for the announcement!

Comments
I have to respectfully disagree with you. While I see where you're coming from regarding the excitement of competitive games, I personally find it to be a lot of fun watching them play coop games like Enshrouded. There's something entertaining about watching themnavigate, collaborate, and sometimes hilariously fail together as they explore and learn the game. The banter, teamwork, and their journey through the game challenges add a different layer of engagement with each other that competitive games don't always give. I'd love to see more content where they work through games together and figuring out the mechanics as a team. There isn't many Coop games out there so it's been great with Enshrouded and Helldivers. I actually joined the Patreon after watching that Enshrouded steam.

2024-02-18 14:18:05 +0000 UTCI don't know how many times I've thought to write this, but then never did: You three guys playing an open world survival loot game is the most BORING type of content. How about you play some fighting games against each other or try to beat each others times in a racing game or play a fun-hard old game. Everything competitive is usual fun (Hitsmas), almost everything where all three of you play cooperatively at the same time and not concentrated on the same stream is boring and not a great watch. That's my content analysis.
