There's a better version of that shot from the end of Jaws 3D. For whatever reason, a bunch of the visual effects were completely redone at the last minute, very quickly and cheaply. That includes the shots of the shark approaching and breaking the glass. The change was made so late (literal weeks before the movie hit theaters) that the original version was shown in an HBO behind the scenes special. I'm very much looking forward to when you do a time travel month for the Watchcast. If you've not already finalized a list of movies for that month, I'd like to recommend Project Almanac to be added to the list. I rarely hear people talk about that movie, which is a shame because I think they managed to find a good balance with the logic.
