Just getting around to listening to this. Pacino did not win an Oscar until Scent of a Woman.

In the grand tradition of my opinion running counter to Nextlander's (really liked Ready Player One, thought Gattica was boring), I thought this movie didn't get good until I started watching it on 1.5 speed. I love movies from this time period, but this had all the problems of the World War Two movies from the late 60s and early 70s, which is to say it could have been about an hour shorter and I would have enjoyed it more. Tighten up those shots, speak a little more quickly, remove a bunch of unnecessary scenes.
