2024-11-01 20:55:34 +0000 UTCI occasionally revisit that last Def Jam video if I want to remember the shift from the before times, along with Steve Austin showing up on Raw for 3/16 day to an empty arena. Glad we eventually resolved that Def Jam cliffhanger on that dying Xbox.

2024-10-31 15:06:07 +0000 UTCSilent Hill 3 is actually narratively tied to 1 in a pretty big wah. You can still play & enjoy 3 without having played 1, but it's more directly tied whereas 2 is completely standalone. 4 is tied to 2 in some weird & interesting ways. Also, Silent Hill is narratively VERY serious compared to Resident Evil. If RE is a lot of B-movie camp horror, Silent Hill is a psychological mindfuck in the vein of David Lynch or David Cronenberg, Jacob's Ladder is a direct influence on the whole series.
