lol I know that spot in Cotati, Alex

I live in a European capital, I have not seen a payphone in about 20 years. I would suggest looking into something like Light Phone for calling without apps.

Unrelated: Brad, Alex, Patrick, (and Jeff G.) are all briefly shown in the new Netflix documentary, "The Antisocial Network".

Ramblin Ray

In this episode: Alex and Vinny become old men shaking their fists at these darn kids 😁 Alex talking about halloween “traditionalist cranks” got me to chuckle. I didn’t get to do halloween or trick or treating until about 4th grade, when my family moved to North Carolina. Where we were at before in Ohio had ordinances against trick or treating on “devils night” or halloween, so we just had harvest festivals at school. No costumes or anything. And while I understand Vinny’s concern about his kids and cellphones, that’s just the culture now. The longer it drags on, the less they will be educated on the social cues of their peer group or generation. Ain’t going to say more than that, because it ain’t my place to say how someone raises their kid. But let’s out the kabosh on the payphone thing. Last I saw functional ones was on a military base in 2009, and AT&T killed the service to those not long after. If they ever did make a comeback, you know it would be at dang near extortionist prices as if you have to use one, you’re probably really desperate.

Are you guys excited for Arcane season 2?

Incredibleplum

Audio books, hardcore History podcasts, and picking up a new hobby, that's my scrolling through it. I spent hundreds of dollars the last two weeks on bookbinding tools I definitely do not need to get started at it, and watched two bookbinding YT channels' near complete back catalogues
