Schedule for the Week of 11/18/2024

I finished up Rise of the Golden Idol last week and now games have no meaning. I kid of course because there’s a new Flight Sim coming out this week! I’m still extremely curious to see how it all comes together around launch. I’m looking to stream some Flight Sim 2024 this Thursday, which should hopefully give me enough time to see what gear and software is playing nicely and what is not. If you haven’t heard, Brad is out this week, so Alex and I will be holding it down. I’ll be streaming some Silent Hill 2 on Monday and then Alex will be back streaming on Tuesday. On Friday, we’ll be back again, still waiting to see whom we can pull him before locking down exactly what we’re doing but I’m hoping Will will join us and we can torture Alex with more Chained Together… or something similar. There’s also STALKER 2 this week, so maybe we’ll find a spot to jump into that as well. Maybe on Friday?! We’ll see.

Over on the podcast scene Alex and I will be Rambling, of course we’ll have the Podcast (still trying to lockdown any guests), and we’ll also be finishing up our Box Office Bomb(ish) block for the Watchcast with Final Fantasy’s own The Spirits Within! That should be up on the Patreon this Monday. We’ve also scheduled a new Never Been a Better Podcast for this Thursday, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to get that up by Friday… but maybe!

Next week the Nextlander “office” is officially closed for Thanksgiving here in the States, so no streams. We’ll have a new Ramblecast going up through, and also you can find a previous, and now unlocked, Never Been a Better Podcast going up in our normal Nextlander podcast feed. Along with the new Never Been a Better Podcast, that should hopefully give you plenty to listen to while you’re stuck in any holiday traffic!

Like I mentioned up top, Rise of the Golden Idol is complete, and hopefully I’ll have some time to get a bit of Flight Sim in as well. Of course there’s the entire backlog of games we’re playing in the background!
