March Release: the Sunland Bowmen Unit!

Good evening everyone! ⚔️

Hope you are having a terrific weekend. Today we want to show you the second preview of the upcoming March 2022 Release: the Sunland Militia! ☀️☀️

This time we have been working the Sunland Bowmen unit, comoposed of four monoposed miniatures with modular heads, in the same line as the Sunland Crossbowmen we showcase the other day. We have also included a modified Sunland Crossbowmen to have more variation in the "firing pose" miniatures, and for the people that didn't like the bags on the chest of that miniature.

To create these Sunland Bowmen we have following again some LARP reference images. Check out all the images from that studio, they are awesome!

Now we are working on the main Sunland Militia Unit. We have already finished the first five miniatures for that unit, we hope to have the rest of the unit ready by the end of the next week.

As we told you the other day, the March 2022 Release will be composed of:

1. The Sunland Militia Unit: seven (7) core male Sunland Militia miniatures, three (3) core female Sunland Militia miniatures, one (1) Sunland Militia captain, one (1) Sunland Militia musician and one (1) Sunland Militia bannerman. The Sunland Militia will come with modular heads and weapons, including swords, maces, axes, bows and one-handed crossbows. You will be able to create a melee Sunlan Militia unit or a bow/crossbow Sunland Militia unit, combined with the rest of the release.

2. The Sunland Militia Bowmen Unit: 4 core specific Sunland Militia miniatures that come with specific bowmen poses and modular heads.

3. The Sunland Crossbowmen Unit: 7 core Sunland crossbowmen miniatures with modular heads and specific crossbowmen poses, as you can see in this preview.

Also, remember that the second Design Contest from Highlands Miniatures is still open, Sunland: Orders of Chivalry! Join the contest to create your own custom chavalry order for Sunland. The winners will be sculpted and will be part of future releases!
