DRR Book 1 + Patch Notes + General Update
Added 2023-08-25 02:25:15 +0000 UTCHere's the pre-final manuscript (meaning it has all the changes I want but hasn't been through a line/copy editor yet) for Die Respawn Repeat. Changes are mostly in the first 20 or so chapters to improve plot and character consistency. Some minor retcons:
- The number of people pulled into the Trial is now 3,021, rather than an even 3,000; this better reflects the Integrators' actual purpose and plants a better seed of doubt for Ethan
- The three stages of imbuement are now called enchantment, anchoring, and magnification, because enchantment and enhancement look way too similar and are too easy to confuse for one another.
DRR is still pending a properly commissioned cover, I'm currently in talks for it.

General update: It took longer than expected, but I'm finally over the burnout, I think. I'll be posting two chapters today and several more over the next few days as I ramp up my writing speed again. I'm sorry for the pause - feel free to ask for a refund for the month if you want one.

I just don't have the money to spare, finding work has been a nightmare. I look forward to coming back to new chapters!
