2017-12-11 23:08:36 +0000 UTCFrom what I could remember, Aira's character sheet (the ones previously on DA before they were taken down by Kique's leave) listed her structure as fragile - and the 'very' kind of fragile. I wouldn't be surprised if she fails this challenge not only because she might be less confident, but she acts as her beast. Yes, she could have been cured of it, as it was bound by death, but she still has very vivid memories of being a beast it would seem, so I wouldn't be surprised if she fails because she doesn't act like a reindeer - instead, something unholy. Aira is a very timid dog but, to be honest, I see her reasons. Not only did she wake up in Aedra a LONG time ago with a tribe she didn't know that apparently treated her like literal shit (how she got her scars, it would seem), but she had to live... perhaps... around 25+ (possibly at least) AEDRA YEARS as a beast. Not only that, but she sought to break the curse every, single, day. Although Aedra years are longer than 12 months, the month days and the hours per day seems to align close to earths, so it may not be much of a difference. However, it's still a /long/ time if you think about it... It's good to see Keirr at least *trying* to support Aira, even if he knows, deep down, that this may not work out on her favor... I don't doubt his abilities considering he has been through things that are much worse, yet Aira is still unstable and very timid. Not only that, but she has little self-confidence and she's quite reckless... so she doesn't exactly understand or, at least, consider consequences of her actions; obviously, if you can remember what happened during the last chapter. Honestly, there's no way out of this unless Aira literally runs away from this problem - in a literal stance. Either that, or she just gets through it, whether she fails or not. Who knows; maybe the moment Raun charges or hits her, she might turn aggressive and respond correctly and prove everyone's theories wrong. Honestly, that would be a HUGE change of events if that happened... Can't wait for the next one though! We'll see if our theories are confirmed or not. :)

I can see her just refusing on principle, but being given a rank for a very caring member, like someone who helps raise the pups or a healer. On the flip side she may take a deep breath and summon some crazy sh*t that no one expects from her and become Vicountess. I see no middle ground here. ha.

And her being naturally weaker isn't going to be a help at all. Hopefully she pulls through. I have no doubts with what Keirr can do, though this is still going to be tough on him.
