:( are those tears in Aira's eyes? She probably is having some flashbacks of her own, although far from the positive one we've gleamed from Keirr. I wonder if she's heading back to the village to return the crown. Hopefully she runs into a member of the tribe that has stayed behind, and can be given some words of encouragement to convince her to stay and train. (How adorable would it be if she were to befriend the pup/apprentice? Imagine that energetic and cheerful lil pup offering to teach Aira all about the history of the tribe, how to fight opponents that have a physical advantage over you, and just being another friend to support and encourage her.)

I'm hoping that Keirr does well enough to impress Fraujar for both himself and Aira. Though the lowest rank is all but guaranteed for her. Kind of sucks for Aira since she doesn't know what a reindeer is. That'd be like asking someone to mimic the behavior of a male Gazorpian if they've never seen Rick and Morty-- it's kind of impossible. However, I do think Keirr will impress the jarl. He knows what a reindeer is and is recalling what Kainan taught him. (Also nice to see Kainan in flashback form!) I'm looking forward to the next few pages.
