When they met in the cave ( when Kargo was captive ) " You turned your back on me when our bond mattered the most ", "your betrayal". What was exactly that bond? Did Rogio do like Ronja did ( scream for the guards )? Who was he to Kargo/Ferah? He obviously didn't do the same as Ralek, because Ferah would had mentioned it when she told the story to Roamer. They actually never really mentioned Rogio, or anything about what happened, though it's obvious to the captive scene that they had something STRONG. Was it friendship, was it love? What was it? I'm very eager for it to be told to be honest xD

2018-01-08 22:17:58 +0000 UTCI'm glad that Rogio opening up and prevented Roamer from completely shutting down. Having Ranach keep everything the same after Ronja arrived was one lie too many. I was under the impression that Rogio was being held against his will, but his anger at himself for not leaving sooner is a surprise. I guess this may be in reference to the first rebel breakout. Had he gone with Kargo, Ferah, and the other dogs, he would have been able to look for his family, since it seems the rebellion broke out in the same year that Rogio joined. As for Roamer, I'm guessing it took this conversation to start wondering about the rest of his family. Such as the fact that Jahla is missing (though we know she's safe), and the Asmundr pack was also spirited away and he's only hoping that all is well (though we know everyone is fine, physically, anyway). Getting away from Kargo and Ferah temporarily may have been good for Roamer. He needs someone like Rogio who won't hide the truth from him, or inadvertently distract him from thinking about his family. I think he'll be a better dog in the long run.

2018-01-08 20:05:57 +0000 UTCWhat Roamer learned from Rogio now showed to him that Rogio has gone through something similar to what he went through, that they both lost their families to their own flaws and mistakes. After learning this, Roamer felt like he could and should share his own burden of what has happened. It's a comfort in its own by letting the other one know that you completely understand what this feels like.
