The more people write about their relationship, the more I think it is good that Roamer broke up with Kargo. Also I never thought about it before but reading your comment I somehow came to wonder if Roamer is angry at Ferah for hiding the truth as well. Like Kargo she knew very well how important Ronja is for Roamer

It's funny. I wanted to give Roamer and Kargo's relationship a chance, especially since Kargo really cared about Roamer. However, I could never shake the feeling that he was always somewhat manipulative and didn't fully trust Roamer as an adult. It might have been the way he distracted Roamer from his family, or never really showed much concern for them. Yes, he didn’t know them, but it felt like he never really cared how important Roamer’s family was to him. Perhaps he couldn’t empathize because of how terrible life was and that beyond Ferah, he didn’t have the support of a loving family. Sure, Kargo (and Ferah) didn't have malevolent intentions, but the longer they let time pass between telling Roamer about Ronja being in the Meteor Tribe, the worse the situation looked. Roamer might have been right in that if they could have gotten away with never telling him, they would have. At the same time, Kargo was more than happy to settle down with Roamer, even knowing this secret about Ronja and how much he cared about her. Yes, he cared enough about Roamer to finally tell him about Ronja, but only after not wanting to see him worrying about her being dead. Even then, as CorruptAngel pointed out, he never apologized for withholding the truth. He just gave a half-hearted, “Fine, let’s go back for her.” Though I’m not sure what it means story-wise for Kargo, especially if Roamer moves on with Rogio. All in all, Rogio is a much better choice for Roamer. He’s not afraid to treat him like an adult and to be honest with him. They also have the ability to bring out the best in each other. Like Rogio getting Roamer to realize he did make a ton of mistakes without berating him for it, and Roamer getting Rogio to open up about himself and realize he doesn’t have to carry his burdens alone. Finally, unlike Kargo, Rogio does care to help Roamer find and reconnect with his family. (It maybe telling that Roamer has chosen to make love to Rogio and not Kargo, despite him having been with the latter longer.)

I love that it's Roamer who taking the lead. While otherwise we could think he just let Rogio do because too sad or etc., that clearly show that no, because he had the occasion to stop it. I love the showcasing of that winlingness, it makes it look much more... nice

While I’m happy for these two, I REALLY hope it’s not simply some sort of one-night-stand/rebound thing. I wouldn’t expect it to be, since their feelings for each other seem to be pretty genuine, but, well... both of them are freshly out of a previous relationship, after all, so... I can’t help but wonder. If it’s not, though, that’s great; I really think these two are good for each other, and can form a loving, healthy, supportive, and trusting relationship (which is something that, imo, neither has ever truly had, especially Rogio, with what he went through with Ranach). I still think it’s too soon for them to be getting intimate, but well... I can understand why they are, given the situation. Once again, though, I really hope it’s not just because one (or both) of them are on the rebound, vulnerable after their breakups. If it turns out it is, it’ll be a real shame, because I really feel like this relationship has the potential to be so much more than that.

Rogio was not Roamer’s lover; Kargo was. As such, Kargo was expected to share everything with Roamer, and to not keep secrets from him. Rogio, however, barely even knew Roamer at the time, and he also didn’t know how much Ronja meant to him. Kargo did, and yet he still chose to keep Ronja’s whereabouts a secret from Roamer. It doesn’t matter if he did it with good intentions, it still wasn’t right. Part of being in a relationship is being honest with your partner, at all times, no matter if it hurts them. Especially after what Kargo and Ferah told Roamer about the Meteor Tribe, and how they treat their females; didn’t Roamer deserve to know that Ronja may have been enduring that same treatment? Furthermore, as we saw several pages back, once Rogio found out how much Ronja meant to Roamer, he felt guilty for not telling him about her, himself, and he apologized. Kargo... didn’t even really apologize. Instead he tried to reason with Roamer, and justify his reasoning for keeping the truth from him, basically saying she’s “happy there” (doesn’t matter if it’s true or not, because Kargo certainly didn’t know this at the time, he only assumed). For all these reasons and more, I think it’s perfectly justified for Roamer to be angry at Kargo, but not Rogio.

This doesn't surprise me at all. Roamer was always so unsure about going to the next level with Kargo. I am sure Roamer loved Kargo in a way but love and sexual desire don't always go hand in hand.
