I often get emotional with what I write, usually just excited to the point where I begin to shiver. One particular scene that felt really heavy and difficult for me to write and draw was Rogio talking to Roamer about how he felt like he missed an opportunity to become friends with Rhovanion. Those scenes were based on something I´’ve gone through in the past, and again just recently, that is still hurting just by thinking about it. Ever since that event in my life I´’ve tried not to think about it, and often wondered if I should skip that part of the story. Instead I went with it and hoped it could be part of my healing process.

This is not really a question relating to the story, itself, but it’s been bugging me, so I figured I’d ask anyway... on the wiki, why is Roamer listed as a Southern Jaro x Rifle? Shouldn’t his breed be Southern Jaro x Rifle/Northern Jaro? As it is now, it makes it look like Niita is purebred Rifle, which we know she’s not. lol ^^

Not Johan Nordin, but I have read that it was pronounced "KEE-keh", similar to "Enrique". I heard he actually got his nickname "Kique" from "Enrique Iglesias", the singer, by his friends, as he was a big fan of him during his childhood.

I do like names that start with R for males and F for females, it´s something with the sound and look that I like, but whenever I look for names I search through the entire list and not just hunt down names with R or F

A little late to the party since being sick is no fun but I have a few that have been on my mind all this month. Not entirely sure if these have been answered yet but I can't but ask X) 1. How long was the ship with Roamer and Rogio planned before it eventually came into effect in this chapter? And will they be the official permanent couple? (Don't need to answer this part if it's a spoiler lol) 2. Will we be able to eventually see most of the locations listed on the Home map like Eternal Lair and Island Adrift? 3. Is there a particular spirit you're excited to show that we haven't seen yet? And 4. What sizes are the comic pages usually painted in? I'm eventually doing my own comic so some advice on the size to do them in is great to know. Keep up the great work on this comic Kique! I really love looking forward to every page and it's not every day I get invested so much into a comic. I can't wait to see where it ends up next!

1 Rogio was supposed to die at the shrine where Ranach tied him up, but his plot was changed early on as letting him live provided more content to the story. 2 They have to be contacted in some way, either through a handmade shrine or by interacting with the stone. Only one spirit can do as they choose and that´s the Solar Elk

1 When I look back I realize that I've always been driven to do storytelling. I made several short animal stories when I was younger. And whenever I played with animal toys with other kids I really went in depth and created long plots that I sent to my friends through email, where they later made their input and edits X) One I can remember was a little book about two foxes that did fun and stupid things. The school liked it so much that the kindergarten teacher took it with them to read for the kids. 2. I never heard of MMPI/ MBTI. I reference back to an article that a writer has written where they list a ton of good and bad personality traits. Dysfunctions and/or disabilities may absolutely appear, Ranach is already listed as being heavily narcissistic. 3. Asmundr was heavily influenced by religion, and the effects that may happen if one is contacted by their chosen "god". Home is more about survival, but the religion part is still there and has affected the way some tribes function or the way characters interact. More on the effects of having a direct connection to the gods while others are less so will be shown in the upcoming chapters. 4. I'm no longer collaborating with J-Harper, but they provided lots of content and helpful advice during their time as co-writer. 5. The scandinavian folklore has a heavy influence in Home, more than what it did in Asmundr. These spirits or beings are different entities from the gods. The basic belief system in both comics are mostly from the Ancient Astronaut Theory, where it's theorized that the major religions are connected on purpose and not by chance, and the ones that the people chose as their leaders or were forced to follow were real, living and breathing beings rather than a mythological being. I've always been intrigued by the thought of aliens being present throughout our entire history, and with Asmundr and Home I explore that thought and what their intentions may be for the human kind and planet Earth. 6. Just Johan or my nickname Kique, doesn't matter to me X) I don't know, that was just something made for fun and not something I planned to continue, but if I see an opportunity for more fun crack stuff then I will do that again.

I'm not Kique but I can answer at least one question for you^^" Fjordor isn't a german shepherd. He's a Northern Rifle dog or just Rifle (idk which is the official name^^"). A wire coated to be exact. It's just one of I think it were 3 coat variations a Rifle can have. All dog breeds in the comics are Kique's own creation, anatomically inspired by real breeds but with different features such as many color and marking variations or various coat types a breed can have :)

Off the top of my head- The trio are G1 Aki's, the first three that deemed the cross breed a success. Roh mentions that they aren't related to the other Aki's in Orion, nor are they related to anyone from Asmundr. So out of curiosity, does that perhaps mean there may have been a few straggling or recovered Liulfr in the Blue One's care? Or even created AFTER as the Liulfr were deemed to be their creation as well, in order to crossbreed them over into the more accommodating Aki? It'd be interesting to see if there were a limited number of Shield Wolves created by the Blue Ones to insure the further success of the Aki breed. :)

What breeds do you usually base your characters off of? I see German Shepherd a lot and then Keirr kind of makes me think of a Dalmatian. Ronja is a Ridgeback? I'm just curious about Roamer, Kargo, Ferah, etc.

Thanks again for another Q&amp;A! It always makes me love the comic even more! 1) Regarding a question you've answered in the last Q&amp;A, you told someone that the bonus pages were based off of either lust or romance (Fjordor x Ferah being romance and Ranach x Ronja being lust). This made me wonder, what would you call the bonus page for Ranach x Rogio, romantic, or lustful? 2) I'm not sure if this would spoil anything, but why did Rogio let Roamer be the "Top Dog" when they were intimate? 3) Regarding sneek peek you've shown us that were meant for much further in the future, has there ever been a time, where you've shown us a sneak peak of something, and then when it's supposed to happen, the scene has changed? The only reason I ask this, is because of a sneak peek you've shown us, and that sneak peek was the only reason I didn't think Rogio x Roamer would be a love interest. 3) I'm not a big dog expert, but I was wondering why Fjordor has a facial fur like a Scottish Terrier, even though he's a German Shepherd. I'm not sure how to say this right, but does that mean dogs have facial hair in the comic, or is that a type of German shepherd? Also, I've seen what others have mentioned, and I think a Discord for Patreons would be awesome to have &lt;3 &lt;3 Thank you so much for the awesome comic!

1. It is possible for a land of this size to have varied biomes and temperatures all at the same time. There are some real life examples of this happening. 2. We´re going to see most of them. 3. I´m not quite sure. 4. Maybe. 5. We will see them again. 6. The overall plot is about survival, the POV´s just show what each main character has to do to survive. Some will connect only to disconnect in the future, it all depends on the choices of the character or the events that lead them elsewhere.

Ooh! A new cover! I like this one. ^^ Hmm... whenever the QNA is not out, I feel like I have tons of questions, but the moment it goes up, I forgot them all lol. This took about the entire time the QNA has been up to write, so hopefully, you haven't already answered these, haha. 1. Will we be seeing more Spirit interactions in the future? I happen to come across a new spirit we haven't seen yet in the Lore section of the Wikia. Her name is apparently Frjáls (which is very beautiful) and seems like a nice spirit. Will we be seeing her or other spirits soon? 2. Kind of adding onto that, will you be documenting more of the spirits? There are unnamed spirit stones on the map and more space on the lore page, so I just wondered. 3. Will you ever run a discord server for the Asmundr/Home patron members to romp around in? I happen to know a lot about discord and how it can work. Considering I help run a rather large discord server with over 30 people in it as an Admin, I think if you ever did run a discord server, I could always help you - any of us can. :) 4. Will we be seeing Ranach and Ulfr anytime soon? What I mean is, will there be conflict in the next chapter, whether it involves them or not? Because now that Rogio is back near MT territory, Ranach is bound to pick up on his location. 5. Are you working on any bonus pages? If so, who (or) what? 6. Do you ever think you'd make speed paint videos for the patron subscribers? As in you drawing out the line art, scaling, coloring, etc.? 7. Will we be seeing new creatures soon? 8. When will we be seeing her colors and her having the ability to speak sentences? 12. How do you come up with the names for everyone? Some, of course, come along with the personality (like Roamers love to roam) but some are quite unique. 13. Will Ronja be giving birth in the next chapter or the chapter afterward? I'm excited to see her puppies. ^^ Considering Roamer and Rogio are right there and are likely to be accepted in, I'm curious; will he still be with Ronja at the time (or near the time) she's ready to deliver her pups? May or may not have accidentally posted this is in the wrong chat beforehand lol.

Will we find out why Rhov is keeping the fact that he's not native to Aedra secret from the guild? As well as why Rogio and Kargo essentially "shushed" him as well as Roamer during the guild's visit to Midnightgarde, preventing them from revealing that information? It almost seems like they hold some sort of distrust towards the guild and/or possibly the matriarch's tribe, even though the guild is in no position to directly interfere in a tribe's affairs. Though of course, i could be wrong about this.

I've wondered this for a while, would you ever consider making a patreon-only discord server for Home/Asmundr universe? Discord's really good with setting up multiple channels dedicated to specific things(for example, fan art, questions, theories, shipping, photo-sharing, etc.) I've been in a few patron-only servers and the overall attitude is very welcoming and mature with rules in place to prevent arguments or negativity. Contests could also be held there.
