I liked him fairly well in Asmundr, at least back then I could see his reasons mainly.. He sebt his brother away because he was afraid of losing him due to him being too gentle and child-like, he called their mother out because.. Well, she deserved it, on multiple occasions.. But he was still willing to protect who he loved, now.. Now even I dislike him though. He's lying to everyone, hes letting the power go to his head and he's generally being a dick in his own right. I'm sure there's a reason here to but its like he lost himself, all that time spent with father and seeing the creation of more of their species probably got the better of him. Hopefully he's not as much of a fool as he's making, himself out to be now.

But the way they’re wording it makes it sound like the Akiulfr were created first, as a Guardian species, and that the Liulfr were a threat *after*, and one that the Akiulfr had to protect Earth from. When, in fact, that’s wrong... the Akiulfr *originated* from the Liulfr, and the Liulfr were not evil, originally; they were simply stolen from the Sky Gods and corrupted by the Green Ones. Furthermore, the Akiulfr didn’t even protect Earth from the Liulfr; only Jahla did, with the help of the Asmundr dogs (which, I say again, wouldn’t have even been possible had Ranulfr not deliberately caused his followers to fail). I don’t know... it just seems to me that they’re twisting the truth, but as I told another person, I’ll wait and see exactly how they explain everything before deciding.

I don't think anything is being twisted just yet. The sky gods told Kainan that they hoped to use Lifa to tame Ranulfr, and it would be really naïve to pair two creatures like that and NOT expect them to mate. The Aki's were deliberately created. They didn't say they were there first, just that the Liulfr was a threat, which is true.

I get the point on Rohgir twisting the truth, though I'm not happy about it. The Liulfr were created as a protector species, and they got corrupted. What if the akiulfr would get stolen too? The Liulfr was cursed with the red-eye disease, and the akis would start to fear that they can get it too. If they would know their true origins, chaos might set roots on the island. But Rohgir can't keep them forever in darkness, they will find out, and that will be worse than knowing it all from the start. I'm curious how Jahla will react to all of this. One part of me hopes she will spill the beans and somehow undermine Rohgir, but another part of me hopes that things won't go wrong so fast. The Akis are kinda fragile. They've been protected for all their lives and kept in a shelter from the hard truth, and it does them no good, as Thakir mentioned. I can only hope things will get better for them soon. :c

I want to see Jalah call him out in front of the whole tribe so bad!

Rohgir is letting the power go to his head. He believes he is superior to the other Akiulfrs, his siblings included. I didn't like him in Asmundr and I really don't like him now.

I understand in a sense their job now may be to do whatever the shield wolves were meant to do but failed to before.. Ran's father had said something about protecting the earth or something along those lines.. That it was their original mission but the sky gods had left them tied there until the madness, illnesses/starvation or whatever happened there made them kill each other off and drove then pretty much insane.. So maybe the skygods re-entrusted this job or mission to the akiulfr species now but.. That doesnt give him a reason to spread lies and false history..

Mmm my dear boy.. What are you teaching these children? Jahla was the only aki out of her siblings to stay and fight, and ranulfr.. He basically willingly led his own people to death to save not only his own species, but anything else that was alive.. No matter where they went they'd have killed and destroyed everything and everyone, he knew this so he tricked the gods who supported them, as well as his people so they wouldn't suffer nor cause destruction.. Roghir has this starting to sound like the akiulfr have nothing to do with the shield wolves in the first place, and like they had been the ones to defend earth from their plague.

That’s what I was thinking too. They’re making it sound like the Akiulfr were created first, when, in fact, the Liulfr were. Not to mention that if it wasn’t for the Liulfr (namely, Ranulfr), there wouldn’t even *be* an Akiulfr species, in the first place. Already, Rohgir and his mate seem to be painting the Liulfr as a completely evil species that the Akiulfr defended Earth from, and that is a *big* fabrication of the truth, to say the least (for one, it was Ranulfr’s own actions that ultimately allowed the Asmundr pack to be able to defeat the invading shield wolves; even Kainan realized this)... but, I’ll wait and see exactly how they explain everything before commenting on this matter further. So far, though, I don’t like where this is going.

Rohgir was still recovering from the fight with the green alien dog...thing at the Liulfr battle. I agree on the story twisting part though

Wasn’t the mating between Lifa and ran unexpected, if so then the birth of their species was technically accidental but since the sky gods used Lifa to help ran they had to take responsibility fr the outcome. The akiulfr are not guardians for earth roghir didn’t even stay to help with the fight. Ugh I liked him at first but he is twisting the story to what he wants the tribe to believe and they don’t even question what made the first akiulfr. Do they even know about Lifa and ran union?

Awwww, my boy Akinn cosplaying a Shield Wolffffffff -screams- this page feels like candy XD. Ill agree with everyone on the story twist, i feel like the story eill tell the Trinity beated the shield wolf, when im fact only Jahla did, and eill ommit all asmundr&co dogs too x)

Hmm.. they've already started it not in the very right way: akiulfrs were created as the mix of liufrs and simple dogs so that they could have the same social capabilities to communicate with anyone... Don't like where Roghir turns this story....

Jahla pupils seem a tad red in that last panel...
I mean tbh, yes her eyes have always been a sort of mix, but I am seeing the redder color creep in more and more, now notable in her pupils? Is it simply fire reflection?

Oh Rohgir, keeping up the family's tradition of twisting things to protect your loved ones?
For some reason I never expected Rohgir to have such a ...hatred (?) view on Liulfrs. Then again, he cut his ear as pup when they ran from his father's rage, he had to deal with Lifa's suffering on the mountain the longest and almost died because of "The Green Ones" who supported the Liulfrs.
Makes me wonder what Argeirr's thoughts about this ceremony are.
I'm curious where this will lead!

Oooh, so it’s gonna be a roleplay, of sorts. Like others have already mentioned, I have a feeling they’re not going to tell the whole truth of what happened on Earth, especially regarding the Liulfr species, and Ranulfr, himself (if he is even brought up, at all). I’m looking forward to seeing where this is going, though... should be interesting. ^^

Oh a play! Let's see how much truth they gonna stick too. And hope Jahla will then step in to tell her story/version.
Amazing page!

I have a feeling this wont go in a good direction for Jahla. Like a fabrication of the truth, but it might help her to see the error of her doing the same with the Asmundr pack.

You know, if that does happen, I wouldn't be surprised if Jahla doesn't LIKE that fact. Maybe she'll realize how it feels and how bad it truly can be if you hide lies just for "protection." I bet she feels bad about lying already, sure, but I wonder how awful she'd feel if she see's it being played out in a different scenario, where it might be way more dire to lie in these situations.
I don't trust Roghir very much, neither the sky gods either if I'm honest, so I wouldn't be too surprised if he does that. Or /they/ do that, honestly.

Oh my... like Vizeryn said, they might not tell the full story. I have a feeling they will leave out the Asmundr pack and Kainan. Which will make Jahla more angry, since she has fought the liulfrs and knows first hand

Well, I'm interested to see where this is going. Jahla is probably the only one who can tell the story properly besides Roghir, but maybe her brother is taking a leaf out of Jahla's book and telling lies to keep the family "protected".
