Today, I want to as your opinion about the Voice-to-Text theme of Chapter 19.
The question is simple: would you like to see another chapter like that, or not?

Note that answering Yes doesn't guarantee there WILL be another Voice-to-Text chapter. It just means I'll consider having one. 😉

We also aren't NTR, but still, I want much more frequent updates than I get. I can't get that IRL, but this is a game. I want what I can't have in real life. it is why I play the game.

And beginning to stretch credibility since, in a real sharing relationship, it will escalate into videos/facetime even if it never reaches the point of the partner actually being physically present (which it usually would).

I'll give the scene where MC gets a picture early in the game where Laura is sitting on Nathan's lap wearing only her shirt, then a pic of Nathan's cock resting on her pelvis, and then... a delay in communications. Are you going to try to convince me that the intention was not to create anxiety and anticipation? A good horror movie does the same thing in the same way. Suggest a situation and let your mind consider the possibilities on what may happen. Also, I'm not confident that we have proper definitions of NTR and NTS in use. My understanding is that these terms describe feelings and not actions. NTR is the anxiety and negative feelings that one feels when a person feels their significant other is with another person (either imagined or real) and NTS is the sexual excitement and positive feelings one feels in that same situation. Whether something is NTR or NTS is dependent subjectively on the person observing it, not on the characteristics of what is happening in the scene. The two terms are also not mutually exclusive and can and usually do occur at the same time. So a single person simply declaring that something is objectively NTR or NTS has a fundamental misunderstanding of the terms.

2024-10-19 19:03:47 +0000 UTCI think a neat idea for the return of voice-to-text would involve Laura leaving on another girls trip with Ashley and Tara. Perhaps while on the trip Laura begins playing around with the app with the expectation of kinky chatting with the player character when she accidently leaves the app running causing the player character to get the transcript of a whole night's conversation between the three girls where they play truth or dare. It would provide a good opportunity to learn a lot about all three girls and some of the dares could involve photos being sent to the player character.

Give us hints of what is happening and let our imaginations run wild with the possibilities. That is what this particular format excels at, just giving us snapshots and letting us fill in the blanks. Now if it was voice acted, that would be a different story.

As MC knows they are going for it, chat starts, MC asking if they are doing the chat thing again but not interaction with MC only at the end : "do this please you ?" or something like that ?

I get that the last part of my comment may overstep the consent part, depending on how its written. Your comment made me realize that the game actually focuses that. A chapter with the characters not realizing v2c is on, wouldn't necessarily exclude consent. The MC could be well aware that Laura is there and that its happening. Or, would that overstep the boundaries too?

I think there is potential for a "unplanned" voice2chat in which Laura and her Lover don't realize that its on. Its gets activated accidentally. That would add something to the concept maybe. Furthermore, maybe a branch for the very submissive storyline, in which what happens in the voice2chat reveals conflicting info to what Laura tells the MC before or after.

Most scenarios, to me, feel like it leans more into the sub side of things even when playing through the dom route and I’m really excited to see how the very dom route plays out. And if we get this feature again, how it’ll work. I’d love to see more experimental features get added to the game.

2024-10-17 16:31:02 +0000 UTCThis is why I voted yes. I think it offered something unique for exchanges between the group. But if going down a dom route, it felt more like being a third wheel to the situation. So having the opportunity to be more engaged if you add it again would be awesome.

Interested to see how this scene will play on the new very dom route, I think I will like it a lot more than the current version especially if MC gets to lead and direct the activities. When Nathan and Laura are making the decisions anyways, it doesn't feel very engaging for a Dom to be present for the scene and it reads a lot like the post-sex recaps. I didn't enjoy how the current version played out, mostly because it was Nathan's idea that Laura was just going along with (really don't ever need bulls brainstorming things MC might like in the bedroom, sending their dick pick edits, etc. on a dominant route), Laura and Nathan didn't seem to change their actions to reflect MC's presence/desires, and the scene was mostly focused on teasing a Sub with LESS control rather than empowering a Dom with MORE control.

Once was interesting to try but i don't want to see this come back as a regular skit. IRL, if we had not voice to text but actual voice, hearing the different voiced and the tones and the breaths of people it would've been fun. Here it's just text and sometimes it's a bit confusing.
