Chapter finale!
I'm taking a break from pages until the new year to give myself a chance to prepare content for next month. I'll still work on things, just not pages so I don't have to stress about completing and posting those during the holidays.

People can have opinions and still support the artist, it is okay to have different view points and takes as long as you are not demanding it be changed which no one is doing. You can let an author/artist tell a story but not enjoy/agree on every bit but still love and support it as a whole. It is good for different emotions to be invoked across the board, be it happiness in victories, sadness with outcomes, disappointment in character's actions, excitement for the future ect. It'd be awfully boring if everyone agreed all the time, different view points are fun and exciting and bring forth discussion. We can still be supportive even if we don't all agree all the time.

2020-12-23 18:46:29 +0000 UTCHonestly regardless of what happens between Jahla and Rome I support it. So far we have seen very few breakups between couples, and although I do love Rhov and Jahla together, sometimes couples grow apart. Besides that, when Jahla and Rhov agreed to be mates, they had absolutely no experience with other males/females. They had very few options, they didn't know nor did they have much exposure to other possibilities. Now in this new world they have met so many other characters, it's not unlikely that they begin to realize they have feelings for another, especially after so long apart from one another. That being said, I do think Rhov and Jahla will stay together; like mentioned before, she always breaks contact with Rome when he tries anything, and this panel clearly shows her looking to the sky - but I don't know if it is in longing or not. Perhaps? Or perhaps she is looking up to the Sky Gods/Father, questioning her own feelings and what path he is taking her on. Either way, I adore this page and I can't understand the people unsatisfied with it. It's Kique's story, let them tell it <3

2020-12-20 09:10:18 +0000 UTCNon shipping perspective: Jahla has a lot to be happy about right now. She met up with Ronja and Roamer and learned about Ronjas pups. She learned that Rhov joined the guild and that they have the means to be safe, and that he did so with the intent of looking for his pack. She made an ally, AND she learned that ghouls can be put to rest. She found and "freed" Rome from his former pack, and she got to see herself validated to Romes old Jarl, who clearly expressed remorsein body language. That is a ton of amazing things in a short period. Jahla and Thakir never had this sort of good chemistry, and friend chemistry is still chemistry. Thakir is sheltered and has never been all that playful. I don't think bad of Jahla at all for enjoying someone she naturally gets along so well with. I think it's very telling that in the last panel, her gaze is directed up and not to Rome. Upwards is very longing, wondering, missing. Her relationship with Romé probably reminds her of her relationship with Rhov, as they were both playful and came easily. I think if she had feelings for Romé then her gaze would have been at him as he walked away, not to the sky. Whenever Rome puts on his moves, Jahla ALWAYS ends up breaking eye contact, looking or leaning away, etc. She may not be as outwardly vocal about having a mate but I don't see her falling all over Romé, either. She's got a lot to be happy about, but there's also still a lot of unknowns. She knows Rhov is looking for them but has no idea if or when they'll find each other. I cannot blame her at all for keeping her cards close to her chest as she navigates complicated feelings and scenarios.

2020-12-19 21:21:15 +0000 UTCAs someone who is poly I wholeheartedly embrace Jahla and Rome. Just because you find feelings for someone else, doesn't mean you love your original partner any less. Now of course when you are in a monogamous relationship it's a issue, but you can hardly fault someone for their feelings.

2020-12-19 21:00:49 +0000 UTCHmm Keirr doesn't seem to have on any WV paint, so I wonder (and hope) Fraujar is having Keirr move over to MT as a sign of an alliance, even if the move it temporary over the winter months. I just hope this doesn't mean we won't see Feli, Raun and Aira again though.. (Feli and Aira are main characters though so hopefully that won't change). I also wonder what that end was with Jahla. I hope it wasn't a "sad we need to part" moment. Or maybe it's just a winter worry. Her tribe is still small and they have no herd (minus one nova which is not food). I worry about them over winter. Take a nice long break Kique. Thank you for giving us almost a page a day for the last while. You (and your hand I am sure) definitely deserve to be on holiday as well. See you in 2021!
