As others have said, he's facial expressions in panels 4 and 8. As to who he is with, still, no idea, could be a part of Southspear (unlikely) but still possible (mainly from preview characters and such), or with a group not associated with any tribe. If it wasn't for him acting suspicious, I would just love him already for his pelt design I cannot wait to see what's truly going on

If he really was a guard he’d be better armoured, weapon equipped and covered in tribe face paint. Even a recently new tribe has more than enough time to paint their ranks. Unless Kique decided not to put face paint on Bear Cheeks just to show him off. Lmao

Its always possible they left markings out since they knew they were following Meteor dogs? but I doubt it.... Something is up. Edit: On a side note, I don't see any tribes near the Arctic Brook.... The only ones near there are Meteor - which obviously he is not a part of, or Ravencrest, which we have seen all the members for.....
