2021-03-02 06:49:43 +0000 UTCCinna-puppy! I just adore Argeirr, he's always been a favourite of mine. Shame that he's felt inclinded to leave the island due to his brother. The fact that he says Roghir isn't the same is a bit spoopy to me; Sadly I've always liked him too, at least in Asmundr I did, now I'm starting to doubt his intent which is sadening to me to say the very least. Ugh - I hope this means we get to see more of Argeirr tho - He's a great character. I'm glad to see he left on his own too and wasn't booted out - which frankly I figured was the case, just feel better to know that's indeed the situation.

2021-03-02 00:57:29 +0000 UTCArgeirr is so sweet that it makes me want to cry sometimes. Every scene he's in perfectly highlights his innocence. He's so expressive...that panel where he flattens his ears and looks at the ground as he tentatively asks Jahla if she's mad at him for leaving the island broke my heart. Him venturing out alone just to return a few items endears him to me even more. I'm extremely glad she reassured him that she wasn't upset, but just worried about how he went off on his own. The fact that he heard her singing and was following it in the hopes that it'd lead him to her is almost too much for me to take. I genuinely can't fathom how anyone can justify being cruel toward him. All it takes is one look at his face to realize how mentally young he is, especially after Jahla pointed out his body language. How could his attackers personally witness his pup-like demeanor, yet still insist on spewing such disgusting things about him? At the very least, the others can stand up for themselves if push really comes to shove, but Argeirr isn't like that in any sense of the word 'self-defense.' I can't imagine how scared and confused he was (and probably still is) after being attacked and intimidated like that in the previous pages. I just love Argeirr's character so much and adore the relationship between him and his sister. That desperate hug they shared speaks volumes of their bond; she's always been fiercely protective of him, and you can tell how much he trusts her to keep him safe, as well as provide comfort when he's scared. I really, really hope to see a lot more of him and that he'll be more prominent now that it looks like he's a (hopefully, please?) permanent member of her pack. β€οΈ I never want those two to be separated again.
