When you're suffering as much as Rogio is, it's hard to talk to anyone, trust me. Also saying that you have dreams or visions where you're going to kill somebody is also very hard to talk about. Would you be completely okay with somebody telling you they had a vision or nightmare that they killed you? I would be very hesitant to say that, too. It doesn't excuse his actions but it is very understandable. At least, for somebody like me who goes through a lot of the same thing. No matter how much people love you, it is really, really hard to talk about things and because of that you feel like you have to distance yourself.

Lol yeah this hits hard personally. My ex best friend pulled this one on me and then called me a bad friend because "If I was a real friend I'd know what's wrong." when I basically said what's in your comment. I'm glad Rogio didn't go down that path at least.

Rogio lol, "You don't understand" is an invalid assumption to make when you never even tried to help him understand.

I am not sure how to put it, Roamer's expression in panel 5 makes him look like a changed dog compared to his younger self. There is pain, frustration and betrayal but also a sense of maturity, anger, annoyance? Then panel 7 and he looks like he did before all the tragic stuff happened. Also Roamer didn't just caught Rogio leaving by accident, he probably anticipated it. That itself speaks volumes about their relationship.

I'm glad that he's finally talking to Roamer but as someone said above one moment of honesty doesn't erase weeks/months of lies and avoidance. Had Roamer not caught and confront him, he would've left without a word. I understand he's suffering but that doesn't give him the right to keep putting Roamer down like that. He's "right", Roamer does deserve better. He's only telling the truth because he's getting ready to leave. Easy to tell everything then leave straight away. Sorry but, Roamer doesn't deserve a partner like that. I didn't think I'd actually be piss to see Rogio trying to leave without a word but if I was in Roamer's situation I would've been beyond pissed. Not sure how I feel about Rogio going out alone. I huge part of me wants him to leave and go and handle his business but a smaller part of me doesn't want him leaving that support system. If he has someone to join him along his journey that he comes across then that'd be fine, just can't have him on his own. But I do want him to leave MT and break things off with Roamer either temporarily or permanently.

So excited to see these two again. Rogio looks awful, desperate and tired, and I totally understand Roamer’s anger. I agree with the other comments that Rogio opening up now is too little too late. Also a couple of minor grammatical corrections - in panel 4 it reads better to say “dragging you down with me” and in panel 5 you can remove “in” before “generations from now” :)

just jumping in to say that my favorite theory of mine is that rogio leaves and avanti finds and helps him, as he was the one to free her and BOTH of them were screwed by MT and ranach in particular

One moment of honesty doesn't erase months of lies and avoidance, nor the fact that he was intending to leave without an explanation or goodbye. No one deserves a partner like that.

Rogio finally says something, but I don't think Roamer can convince him to stay. It's better for the both of them that he leaves and confronts his inner demons alone without the distraction of emotional attachments. Maybe the Sapphire Elk can help and maybe the Irrbloss too. Guess we'll see what follows now.

I hope Roamer doesn't talk him into staying or try going with him. Rogio is a big boy and needs to be on his own for once and face his demons or else nothing is changing.

Glad that Rogio finally spit it out. I still think he should leave for now, would be better for both of them.

Roamer is clearly caring so much he's hurt and angry, and same with Rogio. I hope leaving, and perhaps a break between them will make them both grow and maybe find their way to each other once more.
