I am also desperate for a Rhov/Keirr reunion and Rhov to whisper about the possible attack to Keirr.. Axi said he couldn't tell METEOR.. didn't really say anything about telling anyone else. She also didn't silence him in Whispervale.

I don't think Jahla told him that her grandmother is the matriarch or I'd suggest he go there and ask Jahla to help him ensure Feomeh's safety... Rhov's face in the last panel though.. he's not gonna stand by and let a "feral" creature be harmed. For as hot headed as he is.. he absolutely respects others rights to live.

I suspect after this... Feaf is going to be leaving the guild.. Rhov definately will be now that he's found family.

Though she doesn't seem to extend that hypocrisy to the wolves or Rhov, despite both of them having members of the Capital vouch for them.

I'm wondering if she did and just didn't say anything because he's a cub and even she's not that far gone as to want to turn a child over to a group that might execute him, or if she straight-up didn't notice and will now want him turned over to the Capital as well since she was eavesdropping on the conversation. Oooorr she could just be banking on good ol' racism in the raid since I'm sure that our future ""buddies"" from those tribes will be just as happy to kill what they consider a lesser species. If it's the latter it'll be interesting if she puts her foot in her mouth about that opinion and pushes Feaf/Rhov into saying fuck this and running back to the MT to help them.

2022-10-04 08:23:30 +0000 UTCI feel bad for every character here, but Axi as well. Even if she wanted to lie (and she does look guilty to me) there is one huge outlying fact. The majority of the tribe has likely seen Feomeh. So even if she wanted to lie, it’d greatly discredit her and the guild itself to do so. Their job is to collect scrolls and information. Willfully neglecting a piece of it knowingly… I wonder how many would stop trusting them. It only takes one wrong move. I feel like Ronja might learn that herself.

Even when it wasn't the most suitable thing for me to do at the time, I'm a loyal person through and through. There's caring about your job, and then there's blind loyalty. There's a difference between regular loyalty and blind loyalty. Honestly, in my opinion a real friend would lie for the moment, in a situation like this. Maybe its just me, and being a parent - but to protect the kid in the situation over all things, yes would 100% without question tell a lie here. Axi, is just...I don't know I feel there's more to her story than we are aware of, like someone mentioned before, which is a good theory, that maybe the capital got some dirt on her cuz she legit looks conflicted here. I'd like to think she'd do the right thing by her friend (Feaf) but I am seriously doubting it. And the look on Rhov's face, oh man if looks could kill Axi would be 6 feet under already LOL. Rhov cares greatly for Feaf, and I wouldn't be surprised if he goes off on her for the genuine upset she's about or started to cause Feaf here; that look on Feaf's face speaks literal volumes, that's the look of someone who's come to realize something truly disheartening; that your friend likely isn't your friend; or that said friend wouldn't do the same for you as you would them. Sad really, poor Feaf, at least she's got Rhov, we all know Rhov got her back here, that look on his face is TELLING! Lovely page as always, I am so ready for the next ^^

Imho, both Meteor and Shiverfall should've been talked up as a haven for Feomeh, even if for a little while. Though I'm sure she was considering that the Meteors are in a volatile situation as of right now

2022-10-03 19:43:54 +0000 UTCI see people say they get Axis point. I truly do not. She could simply not let the capitol know until feomeh is with shiverfall shouldn't take super long. How is she saying they are feral when she seems to have eavesdropped on their conversation how can she even claim that having heard her not only speak but have complex emotion, understanding of really complex topics (racism) and connection to feaf!? That racism seems to run so deep. Axi reminds me of jahla back in the day, blindly trusting someone/something (father or the capitol,) it is NEVER right to blindly trust out of love admiration, fear idc, Its a disabled injured person with a son. I get she feels a responsibility to be honest and make the "right" descision but the way she doesnt even offer a compromise (she may in the next pages, ofc, although i highly doubt it, but her response seems heartless and cold to me) is just disgusting to me. She cannot seem to see that lying or holding the info back IS the right thing to do here. I am losing any hope she is a good person. She doesnt care about doing the good or right thing, just about herself and her job. Unless the capitol has something on her (info, a relative they are holding captive, or something similar) and she is scared, i legit have no respect for her left. I hope both feaf and rhov go off on her and maybe even quit on the spot. Also it devastates me that in the last panel feaf looks like she realised finally that soneone she considers a friend and loves wouldn't even do something like this for her, when she wouldn't even hesitate to do the same for Axi. She deserved better. And Rhov being like: '"Aight this is it now you've hurt feaf. Prepare for my wrath."

It's one thing for Rhov lying for his intentions, but lying about a species that is meant to be exiled, is a whole different type of trouble. I don't agree with telling the Capital, but I'm not going to blame Axi for not wanting to lie as it could be danger for her. She's there for guild business, not empathic reasons like Feaf is feeling.
