Also, I love the contrast between her and Romé's eyes - hot fire and cool grass/water (my phone wants his eyes to be green but I think they're blue-ish? idk) Excited to see where this heads.

I do think that surrounding herself with characters who will support her but not oppose bad decisions (aside from voicing concerns, but not going the distance of stopping her) is going to have consequences. Like tbh it would be nice to see Argeirr have an opinion. He may be "domestic" and written as childish but that doesn't make him stupid or mean he knows less than his siblings. Hell he lived with Father, shouldn't he... actually know more about the gods than both Jahla and Rohgir? Now that I think about it he would have been on the ship with Father during the Shield Wolf war. Was he never present for Father or any other god (if there were any present) referring to Marduk by name? Even if he were limited to the mind of a child (which is... Actually kind of insulting if he's supposed to be a metaphor for a mental disorder, I always assumed he was. Like he can be "disabled" and not written as a lovable idiot... He's supposed to be an equal part of the Aki trio for heaven's sake boy deserves some respect in the narrative) I could see him being the equivalent of a kid who grew up with new technology and knows how to use it having to teach "grandma" how to use a search engine. Rome doesn't need to be the only voice of reason just because he's the love interest especially when he's the sole Havenreach member who has never met any gods, spirits, or god-creations aside from Havenreach members. Thakir has input from the Aki culture Rohgir is creating. Argeirr does too and lived with Father (until it was too dangerous like Jahla maybe now is a good time to ask WHAT THAT MEANT GIRL) Avanti was created (I'm assuming) by Marduk or another of the "green ones" was she cognizant during /after her creation or was she dumped with Ninmah as an adult body and no memories of anything before that? Was Ninmah aware of the green ones, did she ever explain Avanti's origins to her? Do either of the hares, who are designed by the gods as advisors, not have any advice to give? Were they not taught, either intentionally or through living with Ninmah as companions, about the gods and green ones and spirits for the express purpose of advising? Jahla Honey You have had a treasure trove of the information you WANT and NEED! Utilize the cast you've got and let them shine!

So even though they struggled has it not been worth it???

Also he is the one that corrupted her father I hope lifa shows some kind of anger over that cause they did love each other. I'm starting to realize roghir and jahla are more like their father then they care to admit

You are no step closer to finding a way of getting rid of him without him killing everyone you love. She reminds me a lot of her father here, angry and impulsive. Girl please show us you have learned from his and your past mistakes. You need a plan. Otherwise it'll be a disaster and many will die.

She's in a really tough spot right now, and I hope she doesn't put herself/her family in danger when she gets there

Unless... the humans aren't "normal" and instead are humanoid aliens (kinda like Father's form) that took over instead of actual ones. THAT would be really interesting

I thought the reason they left Earth in the first place was because humans took over and the dogs just couldn't compete? We know that Marduk is mostly responsible for the Shield Wolf invasion, but what does that have to do with the humans? There's probably something I'm missing since I haven't read Asmundr in so long, so if someone could help me understand that'd be great!

If you just rush over there without thinking, everyone could get hurt even worse than they've already been. Plus, how will she actually get the Asmundr pack free from Marduk, does she think she can kill him? She needs Romé to stop her, or her familiar, I feel bad I forgot his name 🥲Edit: it was literally mentioned last page, Folluin 😅
