Either Rhov or Kainan are dying... seeing Kainan go would be full circle for his story in my opinion, but Rhov dying protecting his dad while his partner is pregnant would also be tragicly fitting. Maybe Kique is nice and nobody dies Q_Q

I mean, Ranach would use that pesky obelisk all the time XD And its quite poetic tbh X) Ranach using Avanti, Marduk that obelisk. And for Marduk it shows how "human" he actually is. He judges them for beeing greedy and abusive but from what we know he is just the same.

Ranach thought he had the upper hand with Avanti - a supernatural being. And so does Marduk having that obelisk in his back. I mean page 374 Edit: I don't intend to compare Kainan with Ulfr. I just think that if that is not a coinsidence it is a great parallel between Marduk and Ranach <3 And if so it is still great
