Hi Laurel! I’m so sorry to hear about your bestie. We lost my fiancés mom a few years ago to Cancer. I was her primary caregiver and it was the hardest things I’ve ever had to do in my whole life (including past traumas). My heart goes out to you all. Please reach out if you need any advice. My sister and I were at the ATEEZ concert in Chicago too! What section were you in? I had some issues with StubHub LITERALLY the day before and due to a “mapping issue” we got bumped from next to the catwalk to the back of the field. We were close but were both short so we could barely see the guys which was annoying bc as a dancer, I missed ALL the choreography. 😩 I was a little annoyed with the camera work bc they were all beauty shots (and I’m not complaining about how good they are) but damn how about some full choreo shots for us!! And when they did Man on Fire, I think I said “oh my god” and had a visceral reaction just hearing the song. I thought about going to other stops but my life is just too chaotic for that. So I will get the DVD when it comes out and watch it then, or just look for some fan cams. And as a fellow ADHDer, I have to leave all my meds and vitamins out on my counter so I remember to take them. Sucks bc between those and my skincare it looks like a bomb went off in my bathroom but at least it gets the job done! 💖

2025-08-05 15:35:45 +0000 UTC1. I'm having hernia repair surgery on Thursday. I keep being reassured it's a very safe and common surgery but I have never had one before and am facing some existential dread. But I will be taking some weeks off work after and I have been planning a fun staycation because if it gonna cost me more than a vacation then I'm gonna treat it like one lol 2. I beat Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and it was just beautiful. It reminds me so much of the games I grew up playing and falling in love with as a medium. Turly a masterpiece. 3. It's Gundam Wing's 30th anniversary and they released a fun animation for the anniversary that is such a nostalgia bait for me. I bought a master grade tallgeese I'm going to build once I get over the first hump of recovery.
