Another Update: Current State of the Next Review
Added 2017-12-30 06:56:22 +0000 UTCHello everyone, I don't usually make Patreon posts this close to one another but like I said I want to be better at keeping y'all in the loop of things if you don't follow me elsewhere.
I am leaving town on January 1st and will not be back until the 12th at the earliest, this is a vacation I'm taking to meet my long distance boyfriend of a year and a half in person for the first time ever and was planned several months ago, before I even started working on the current review. My current goal is to finish this video before I have to leave, but given the amount of work I have left to do I'm not sure how realistic that goal actually is.
Obviously I don't want to spend my first week ever meeting my boyfriend in person hunched over a computer finishing a video. Partially because it'd make me miserable but mostly because it wouldn't be fair to him, considering he's traveling much further than I am.
I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I'm really sorry for how long this video is taking me to make. I should have made a smaller video to bridge the gap like I did with The Surge, I'm definitely keeping that in mind if I ever decide to try my hand at massive long form videos like this one again in the future (unlikely, and if I do it won't be soon).
In 2018 I'm making a commitment to being better at this. I want to get back to uploading on a monthly basis and I want to be better at communicating with my audience about this sort of thing. After all, y'all are pretty much my bosses, I shouldn't be keeping you in the dark.
Hopefully the fact that this review will have some "bonus features" for Patrons makes the wait a little bit more bearable. Thank you so much for your patronage, it means the world to me that y'all are sticking around through this shit. Thank you.
