Hey everybody. Episode Three sees the return of fan favorite Erin, MC's colleague in the DA's Office. If you missed Erin's bonus scene from Episode Two, you may want to close your bedroom/office door and load that up now.

I am 95% done with the courthouse scenes. There is one final witness for which I need to rewrite his dialogue and do his renders, and he just happens to be the most important witness since he is one of the main reasons for including the trial in the game. I'm sort of struggling with that rewrite, though. This is another instance of trying to keep things simple enough that they're not boring, but not so simple that they don't make sense. I've decided to come back to it later, so for now I'm working on another scene.

I am, however, starting to pile up the tasks I've been putting off for later. One is posing/rendering the wedding reception scene, but there are also several scene dialogue rewrites, or in one case a scene that I haven't written at all because I know how hard it's going to be. That scene is MC meeting his sister.

The scene terrifies me, honestly, because it's one of several in the game that I have to do correctly or the whole story is less impactful. Not only do I have to nail MC's emotional response, but I have to realistically portray his disabled sister. While I'm not close with anyone who has inspired this character, I have done a small amount of volunteer work with disabled individuals, and I've also spent quite a few hours reading and watching videos to try to put me in the head of the sister. Hopefully I pull it off.
