Hello!

I hope that all of you are doing well. Sorry for the delay on this post -- I am in the middle of reading for the comprehensive exams of my PhD, and I have been jam-packed with things to do for the past couple months.

Sorry that there isn't a PLAYER//KNOWLEDGE video this month! I'm a little short of the funding mark that makes it mandatory, and I have had SO MANY OTHER THINGS going on that it's been hard to keep up! But never fear! If you like P//K, it is coming back soon.

In other news, many videos have gone up over at my YouTube page. Danni and I are continuing our Let's Play of Beyond: Two Souls, John Warcraft has talked to Peter Molyneux, and our Baldur's Gate video podcast called Mages and Murderdads is updating biweekly.

On the writing front, you might be interested in this piece I did on the tragedy of The Witcher 2. Or you might want to read about how Donald Trump is a creature of postproduction. Or maybe you really like Bloodborne and want to know what I think is going on in the lore of that game (warning: weird).

Lots of things are happening now and in the future. John Warcraft will finish up soon, I will be writing something long-ish about The Witcher, and I am still plinking away slowly at a full Let's Play of Final Fantasy 8.

I also want to take a second to recommend some things to you. In no particular order:

- deorbital is a newish games publication with a purposeful mission to be something new and out of the norm. you should check it out!

- the second season of The Katering Show is finally on YouTube. I love it.

- there's an issue of Rhizomes about the work of Karen Barad that I have slowly been working through

- I read Rocannon's World and I was blown away
