We ride up and down the rocky road of a tv show made by a guy who did not understand how to make a tv show, and we also talk about James Mason's surprisingly tender performance as Straker. There are also jumpscares in the program, but not in this audio podcast.

Unfortunately, it’s not a euphemism, it’s very real (more well known today as the Humboldt crud or the Humboldt hack), characterized as a very wet and phlegmy cough. Since the fog, which is very prevalent up here contains water, the crew was inhaling fluid into their lungs and that’s why they were sick. Everyone catches the crud up here, it’s real nasty.
