New module : export FoundryVTT world to Obsidian
Added 2024-03-20 23:53:07 +0000 UTCI am pleased to present to you a new module for FoundryVTT that allows you to export a world to Obsidian. Use cases can be varied, but the one that motivated this development is to be able to generate a web site accessible to everyone outside of game sessions (thus without needing to keep the server open)

Use Moulinette to export the world as Obsidian Vault
Share it with your players
(optional) Use Obsidian Publish or export modules to generate a website
(if your site is publicly accessible, be careful with copyrights)
By selecting the view of a specific player, the module allows you to export only the contents visible to that player.
The module is very young, and I need your feedback to continue its development. The generated pages are relatively simplistic and only export limited information (lists, names, descriptions, and some metadata). Before investing a lot of effort, I would also like to gauge interest in such a module that may not interest anyone :-)
Furthermore, the module is completely open-source. This means it doesn't require supporting Moulinette, and allows and encourages contributions.

2024-03-23 14:53:33 +0000 UTCHi Risi, Someone reported that issue (https://github.com/SvenWerlen/moulinette-obsidian/issues/1) and I already implemented a fix for it (disallowed extension). Can you try version 11.1.1? If you still have issues, you can report them here, on Discord or GitHub (what is the best for you).

2024-03-21 22:46:57 +0000 UTCThis is incredible!! I don't use obsidian publish, but I do publish my obsidian vault using a site called Blot.im which turns a folder into a blog. I was previously just copying notes from my campaign vault into another one that's linked to Blot. This is so much better!
