This is another one where just the date was on the tape so I didn't know what I was gonna get till it was digitized, but-t HOLY COW was this a happy surprise!!!
Evil Toons & Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers are both SO GREAT!! I'd KILL to show them on The Last Drive-In!!!!! And Fred Olen Ray is one of my all-time favorite directors! (What can I say...I'm a ghoul of impeccable taste! ;) Wild Cactus I haven't seen yet, but it's got David Naught(y)ton and former Monstervision Mail Girl Kathy Shower in it, so I'm adding it to my watchlist to catch up on ASAP!
Side Note about the uploading sched: Starting next week I'll have these ready to go right after AEW airs (around 7pm PST). JB used to follow wrasslin' back in the TNT days, so I kinda dig the idea of him following TNT wrasslin' again now. :) xoxo

This segment reminded me of a funny story from my video store clerk days. I worked for a Mom and Pop chain before working for Blockbuster (said Mom and Pop were actually quite difficult to work for, and cheap to boot). The manager for the other store had "religious objections" to putting out the new adult movies that came in every Friday, so she would let them pile up until I worked in her store (once a month or so). This annoyed me, because . . . if you object to something that contributes quite heavily to your paycheck, why are you working here? "Religious objections" for this person did not include Fred Olen Ray films, which she often checked out on her account 😂. He was absolutely correct in his assessment of why erotic thrillers were such moneymakers for video stores. We had a very specific customer base for them that included "religious objectors" to actual porn, senior citizens (mostly women), and closeted gay dudes (if you could see Andrew Stevens or Martin Hewitt's bare buttocks, it was a sneaked "win" . . . Hey, I wasn't ALWAYS out 😂).
