Frankenstein & The Surgeon (Air Date: 7/10/99)

Happy Splatterday, Patreon Pals!

Tonight we have a super cute Summer School ep for you (complete with gratuitous Eugene Levy! 😋) . I’ve been trying to get JB to do these again since I met him, but he never has enough time. This year I vow that if he says he can’t do them, I’m gonna do ‘em myself!! Summer School was too much fun to not be a thing anymore…We need diplomas to go along with those Iron Mutant Citations!  😉

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend…Here are the time codes for ya! 🥰❤️

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein

Start the ...

First segment: Before the flick.

Second segment: About 17:31 in after Victor looks down.

Third segment: About 26:48 in after “More coffee anyone?” and Elizabeth exits stage left.

Fourth segment: About 35:44 in after Victor says “I think that’s a risk worth taking.”

Fifth segment: About 50:27 in after Victor closes the curtains.

Sixth segment: About 1:00:35 in after the blind guy gets up from the tree.

Seventh segment: About 1:14:30 in after the boy runs into the woods.

Eighth segment: About in 1:21:43 in after Victor falls to his knees and says “Justine, forgive me.”

Ninth segment: About 1:30:23 in after Elizabeth closes the doors.

Tenth segment (gratuitous Eugene Levy): About 1:42:21 in after the shot of Victor carrying the body toward the camera.

The Surgeon (aka Exquisite Tenderness) (segments start at 26:48 )

(Special note from Ben: A saintly Mutant-in-spirit has uploaded this flick to YouTube, which is where I was able to watch it, otherwise, we'd be waiting on a $30 DVD to come in from the U.K.!)

Start the ...

First segment: Before the flick or between the flicks if you're doing the double feature.

Random Side Note: I loooooove Summer’s “Bride” outfit. I have to find an excuse to copy it sometime! 😉❤️❤️

Holy Cheese and crackers, this episode was off the charts fun! LOL!

JB’s humor was so on-point at this time in his TNT career. So freaking funny!

Well that's more than I ever needed to know about Deniro's butt 🤣

AP was quite an iconic teen movie for my xennial generation. Came out a month after I graduated high school. I saw it with a daughter of my mom's friend since she was too young to see an R movie by herself. Did the same for Cruel Intentions which is a big campy guilty pleasure. Had a crush on Hannigan after it came out as well.

The only credential that really matters, eh Brian?

Gratuitous Eugene Levy is always a welcome sight. One thing I love about our kind of films, besides all the obvious reasons, are the snappy one liners and they are definitely present! I wonder which would be more likely to happen, JB doing another Summer School ep or adding "Booty" for the 4th to accompany the other 3 B's we love!!

I've always said....well I think I've said it twice....Joe Bobs Night School could be the thing. We could learn jousting.

and I concur with everybody else that I want in...I want that diploma for my wall

"daaaaaaaaaaaaa-ddy?" "Ummmmmm....yeah.....yeah, I'm your DADDY!"

I have two diplomas. One from high-school, the other trade school. If you all did diplomas, I'd wear a cap and gown and hold it with pride.
