Ho-wdy, Ho-mies! Happy Splatterday!! Thanks so much to everyone who helped us celebrate Saint Clint Howard last night. That episode was a dream come true for so many reasons!! Hope you had as much fun with it as we did. 🥰

I’m extra, extra behind with literally everything right now. I always am, regardless, but the second “extra“ there is bc of the torturously slow wifi I’ve had in the cabin for the past 10 days or so. I get to go home for a few days starting tomw, though, so hopefully that’ll give me a chance to get at least semi-caught up. In the meantime, I’ve felt really bad bc I might be missing something urgent as messages here just keep piling up. 😞

A lil’ solution we’ve come with for that is to start a Twitter just for this Patreon (@thelostdrivein). I have a friend helping me run that, so if anything super urgent comes up (tech issues or questions re. merch, for example) feel free to DM there. They will likely know the answer for you, and if not, they know how to get ahold of me pretty quickly.

Hope you have a blast tearing the heart outta Splatterday night, freaky friends!❤️❤️❤️

Comments

This one I remember watching when it first aired. Probably the first time I watched The Warriors and one of the most memorable episodes.

Right? It's so marvelously weird it comes around to being awesome. Plus, the old-school film guy in me loves Gene Kelly.

Xanadu is totally underated

I never realized how based on Greek Mythology/History this story is. One of the reasons I love watching movies with Joe Bob.

I remember watching this when it first aired on TNT. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Chris! This was always a favorite episode of mine!

Intro Beginning 2nd Segment 24:57 (Adiós) 3rd Segment 34:51 (Come in Peace) 4th Segment 41:56 (Train Keeps Rollin) 5th Segment 56:52 (F**king Wimp) 6th Segment 1:09:12 (Sh*t) 7th Segment 1:21:20 (Dissolve) 8th Segment End of movie

Here is time stamps for the uncut version. They were slightly different by a minute or so each Segment.

Excellent! This was my introduction to both JB and The Warriors after a night of drinking 40 ounces in the park in high School!

Corey S.

I remember reading where Michael Beck once said "Warriors" opened the door to his career, and "Xanadu" closed it again (I actually enjoyed both).

Ok. I just followed The Lost Drive In Twitter page. And thanks for the movie 😊

Johnny Salinas

One of the other times he showed this on TNT the entire crew were doing David Patrick Kelly impressions. Everyone was saying "Warriors - come out to plaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy," and Joe Bob was cracking up. This one is super cool - but that one is my favorite. This one allows me to make notes so that when I'm next in NYC I can cross the city following the route of The Warriors. I think that would be cooler than going to the Joker stairs.

This is one of my favorite movies all time. First time I saw it was on Monstervision. Super excited to revisit this one.

I'm pretty sure it could be easily figured out though I'll watch it either tonight or tomorrow and try to plot the differences.

You know what’s sad about this? Unless you have an original cut of Warriors the time stamps mean nothing 😢
